My Favorite Wisconsin Pumpkin Patch

One of my favorite lifelong traditions is taking a trip to the pumpkin patch with my family. For as long as I can remember, we have been going to Waldvogel’s Farm in Juneau, Wisconsin.  The place is so charming and they truly have something for everyone. From mini golf to goat feeding to a corn maze, Waldvogel’s has just about every fall-time activity you could possibly think of and then some!

Full disclosure here, I have never been to any other pumpkin farm, but I honestly have no desire to go anywhere else.  My family and I make it a point to go to Waldvogel’s every year and every year it seems that they have added something new. This year they even had the Disney princesses greeting and taking pictures with the kids.  It was so cute to watch my 2 year old niece get to meet the princesses that she loves and watches every day on TV.

It was rainy and muddy the day that we went to the pumpkin farm this year, but Waldvogel’s has so many activities and things to see that even in the rain, we were still able to spend half the day there and still had a ball.  In fact we could have stayed longer, but there was a Packer game on that we wanted to get home and watch.

I could go on for days about how great this pumpkin patch is, but no one has that kind of time. Instead I will list my top five favorite things about Waldvogel’s:

  1. The caramel apples – they are seriously to die for. Hands down the best caramel apples I have ever had!
  2. The hayride to the pumpkin patch – there is just something that is so charming and gratifying about taking a hay wagon ride out to the actual pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkin.
  3. The corn maze – one of the original attractions at Waldvogel’s, the corn maze is always a fun time!
  4. The lost mine – this is a new-ish addition, but it is not to be missed! I don’t know that I would recommend bringing small children into this one because it gets very dark and could potentially be a little scary.
  5. The train ride – a relaxing ride around the property with some fun surprises along the way.
It was rainy and muddy the day that we were at the pumpkin patch, but these boots held up so well!  Exact boots, similar boots, similar boots
Notice the difference in the hair indoors versus outside. Womp womp.
