Chicwish Lie in Checkfeilds Turtleneck Cape Sweater 5 Ways

If you have been following along for a little while, and this sweater looks familiar to you, it’s because it is! I’ve shared this exact sweater before here on the blog and also over on Instagram. I’ve also shared the exact sweater in the green color. Yes, that’s right… I love it so much that I own it in 2 colors! Since I have been wearing the heck out of this caramel version lately, I thought that I would round up all the ways I have been wearing it in one place! Here is the Chicwish Lie in Checkfeilds Turtleneck Cape Sweater 5 Ways:

1. Check Cape Sweater with Bodycon Dress

We will start with this look because it is probably my favorite look on this list. Unfortunately, I don’t have too many reasons to wear this outfit these days! The Covid numbers here in Wisconsin are starting to become a little concerning right now, so my boyfriend and I have been trying to lay as low as possible lately, just to err on the side of caution. Once the hospitals around here aren’t so close to capacity, we will definitely have to plan a date night out so that I have a reason to wear this look!

2. Check Cape Sweater with White Jeans and Neutral Booties

Who says you can’t wear white after labor day?! If you are like me and are unopposed to wearing white pants in fall, this is a quick and simple fall look. The neutral booties with chunky heels keep the look casual while adding some height. The mixed patterns of the check sweater with the striped tunic that I layered underneath really pops against the neutral canvas of the white jeans.

3. Check Cape Sweater with Leggings and Booties

There is a really strong chance that this might wind up being the outfit that I wear to Thanksgiving. This looks just screams fall to me and the comfy leggings paired with the non-form fitting cape style sweater make the perfect thing to wear while you’re stuffing your face. Some bling on your wrist and a floppy hat add a feminine touch and pull the look completely together!

4. Check Cape Sweater with Leggings and Slipper Mules

If you liked the previous look but wanted something a little cozier and comfier, I’ve got ya covered! Eliminate a few of the completer pieces and switch out the boots for fur trim mules and you have a cute and comfortable outfit that is still stylish!

5. Check Cape Sweater with Jeans and Booties

This post wouldn’t be complete without a look that includes basic jeans! I am a blue jean girl at heart, after all. A camel color hat and boots add a soft fall-colored touch to complete this look. The combination of the jeans with the checks and camel colors give me major scarecrow vibes, without looking like an actual scarecrow.
